Vintage Fashion Fairs

Anita’s Vintage Fashion Fair is teaming up with the British Red Cross to help the people of Haiti. The Red Cross is helping provide life-saving items to the thousands affected.

On Sunday 21st February 2010 at Battersea Arts Centre, you can take your good quality clothing, books, homeware and unwanted gifts to Anita’s Vintage Fashion Fair, clearly labelled "Haiti Appeal", with all money raised from these items by The Red Cross going directly to the DEC Haiti Earthquake Appeal*.

What a great opportunity of helping those in need with a wonderful day out meandering your way through the maze of fanciful frocks, awesome accessories and jaw dropping jewels that adorn the 65 or so stalls. Whatever you’re looking for, whether it is trimmings, buttons and brooches to spruce up a simple outfit, or an investment piece that will stand the test of time, you’ll be spoilt for choice – but not for a bargain!

Anita’s Vintage Fashion Fair at Battersea is a treasure trove of unique and eclectic items, offering a wide and a delightful array of vintage designers such as; Pucci, YSL, Gucci; Dior; Chanel; Vivienne Westwood; Versace; Ozzie Clark; Biba; Cardin; Eley Kishimoto; Cardin; Jean Veron, and many others. You can find anything from silk organza dresses to wedding dresses through the ages, beautiful vintage handbags and exquisite jewellery. Great fun, browsing through the rails and talking to the knowledgeable, experienced exhibitors from New York, Hungary, France and all over the UK!

The Fair is a one-stop haven for this season’s entire Vintage "must-have" buys, offering the ‘crème de la crème’ of vintage fashion, jewellery, accessories & textiles. 　Be creative – blend the new with the old - today, Vintage fashion is wearable and contemporary and compliments our modern wardrobe. With genuine, quality vintage fashion becoming increasingly rare and more and more difficult to obtain, buying vintage is not just an investment but also unique. It is certain that you won’t see anyone else wearing the same as you!

With all the vogue of being green and helping the environment, yet keeping in mind the desire for personality–defining unique fashion, there is no better place to do both while watching the pennies all under one roof.

For those of you needing a break or some substance in your bargain hunting you can relax in the BAC café, selling our fabulous homemade cakes, lunches, afternoon teas, sandwiches and refreshments all day.
